Dear Ben,
It's hard to know where to begin. You know, we've been through a lot together, you and I. Ups and downs, highs and lows, and it's always felt like we've been on this journey side-by-side.
Remember that first year? You came in with a swagger and a smile, a lightning bolt of a player ready to electrify the league. And boy, did you ever. You were the spark that ignited something special, the catalyst for a new era of Dragons football.
Those first few seasons, we were unstoppable. We were young, we were hungry, and we were playing with a passion that seemed to burn brighter than any other team. You were the heartbeat of it all, the engine that drove us forward, the one who never stopped believing, even when things got tough.
But then, things changed. Injuries plagued you, and the team struggled to find its footing. The joy, the excitement, it all seemed to fade away.
And through it all, you were there. You never gave up. You fought through the pain, the setbacks, the doubts. You kept your head down, kept working, kept believing. You were a symbol of resilience, a testament to the power of perseverance.
We've seen you at your best, and we've seen you at your worst. But through it all, we've never lost faith in you. We know what you're capable of, and we know you're still that same fiery, passionate player that captured our hearts all those years ago.
So, Ben, this is a letter of thanks. A thank you for everything you've done for this club, for this city, for these fans. For the memories you've given us, for the moments you've made us believe, for the hope you've inspired.
You may be facing a tough road ahead, but we'll be with you every step of the way. You've earned our trust, our respect, and our unwavering support.
We're not just fans, Ben. We're family. And family sticks together, through thick and thin.
We believe in you, Ben. We always have, and we always will.
With love and loyalty,
Your Dragons Family
